The Mahindra Scorpio N experiences another price hike in India

The Mahindra Scorpio N has undergone another price adjustment, with a starting price of Rs. 13.76 lakh and the top-end model reaching Rs. 24.53 lakh (ex-showroom). This increase follows a previous hike of over Rs. 1 lakh earlier this year. The Scorpio Classic and XUV700 have also experienced price increases.

The most significant price increase of Rs. 81,000 is for the Z4 Diesel MT 4WD 7-seater variant (E). Additionally, the Z8L Diesel AT 2WD 7-seater version has seen a hike of Rs. 1,995, and the base petrol variant price has risen by Rs. 52,199. The top-end model, previously priced at Rs. 24.51 lakh, now stands at Rs. 24.53 lakh (ex-showroom).

The Mahindra Scorpio N offers a range of variants: Z2, Z4, Z6, Z8, and Z8L. It is available in seven exterior colors and can be configured as both a six-seater and seven-seater vehicle. The Scorpio N is offered in 30 variants, with options for both 4×4 and 4×2 configurations.

Under the hood, the Scorpio N offers two engine options: a turbocharged 2.0-liter mStallion petrol engine with four cylinders, producing 175 bhp and 400 Nm of torque, and a turbocharged 2.2-liter mHawk diesel engine with four cylinders, delivering approximately 203 bhp and up to 380 Nm of torque. Both engines come with a standard six-speed manual transmission, with the option of a six-speed torque converter automatic transmission.

The latest Mahindra Scorpio N features several exterior and interior upgrades compared to the previous generation. It rides on a new ladder-frame chassis that is lighter and stiffer. The list of features has been enhanced, including an eight-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, 18-inch alloy wheels, black leather upholstery, multifunctional steering wheel, connected technology, integrated Amazon Alexa, multiple airbags, and various safety features and technologies.

In the SUV segment, the Scorpio N competes with cars such as the Tata Safari, Innova Crysta, Innova Hycross, MG Hector Plus, Hyundai Alcazar, and others. Despite the price adjustments, the Scorpio N remains an attractive choice with its updated features and strong performance, ensuring its competitiveness in the market.
