MG Motor Australia and New Zealand have announced an exciting upgrade to the steering damper of their popular 2023 MG4 XPOWER electric hot hatch. This upgrade, which comes in response to valuable feedback from customers worldwide, aims to improve steering stability at higher speeds. To accommodate this modification, MG Motors is extending the delivery times for the hot hatch by approximately two to three weeks.

The retrofitting of the new steering damper will be provided free of charge for all XPOWER vehicles, regardless of whether they are awaiting delivery or have already been delivered. This means that both current and future owners of the MG4 XPOWER in Australia and New Zealand will benefit from these significant improvements.
The MG4 XPOWER electric hot hatch features a powerful 320kW/600Nm dual-motor powertrain, enabling it to accelerate from 0 to 100km/h in just 3.8 seconds. Equipped with a 64kWh battery pack, it offers an exceptional WLTP range of up to 400km. The vehicle also boasts a stiffer suspension, larger brakes, an electronic differential, and various high-end features including partial-leather upholstery, heated front seats and steering wheel, wireless phone charging, LED exterior lighting, keyless entry and start, orange stitching, and advanced satellite navigation.
